Katherine Renee Kane is bidding farewell to CBS's procedural action drama FBI. She played the role of a tough and outspoken Special Agent Tiffany Wallace. The show, created by Dick Wolf and Craig Turk premiered on CBS on September 25, 2018.

Kane joined the show in its third season and has been a regular character in the last four seasons. However, the actor has decided to leave the show to explore more creative endeavors. She will briefly appear in the next season, which will be the character's last appearance as a regular character.

The show stars an ensemble cast including Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto, Ebonée Noel, Sela Ward, Alana de la Garza, and John Boyd among others. A seventh season is scheduled to be released on October 15, 2024.

Katherine Kane is leaving the CBS series FBI, after making a brief appearance next season. She is reported to feature in at least one episode. Katherine's character Tiffany is a fierce and outspoken agent who served in the New York Police Department for six years before joining the bureau.

Katherine's character Tiffany went through a tough time in the last season of the show. Her friend Agent Hobbs, who was working undercover to capture a terrorist named Hakim Siran, is brutally killed. Tiffany promised to get justice and delivered it by gunning down the terrorist in the season finale.

Talking about the state of her character, the actress said that she wants Tiffany to be more comfortable and at ease in her personal and professional life, while continuing to be a rough and tough crime fighter.

Discussing her departure from the show, she shared with Deadline that, it was time for her to look for new creative endeavors.

"I’m excited for the future and wish the show all the best,” she said.

The news of the actor's departure comes with the news of the hiring of actress Lisette Olivera as the Behavioral Analysis Unit agent Syd. She will now be a regular character in the show.

The show is led by Missy Peregrym as Special Agent Maggie Bell and Zeeko Zaki as her partner Omar Zidan. Katherine Kane was brought in as the replacement for actor Ebonee Noel, who played the Intelligence Analyst Kristen Chazal.

Other members of the cast of FBI include Jeremy Sisto as Jubal Valentine, Sela Ward as Dana Mosier, and John Boyd as Stuart Scola. There are several recurring characters in the show that feature in a few episodes.
