Will and Faith had to investigate a mysterious case of poisoning at a reputed company named Sovrano Industries. Meanwhile, Angie also got a chance to prove herself when a dead swan was found at the residential complex where she is currently working as a security officer.
At the end of the episode, it was revealed in Angie's case that the owners of the farm, Brent and Davis, were responsible for running an illegal ring. They were forcing immigrant workers to work in poor conditions.
Angie busted this ring and hence got an official pardon from the Atlanta police department. They permitted her to return to work, so it is very likely that Angie and Will shall be reunited on screen in the next episode.
What was the poisoning case at Sovrano on Will Trent season 3 episode 3?
Will Trent season 3 episode 3 began inside the office of Sovrano Industries in Atlanta. The CEO of the company, Marcello Sovrano, was addressing a team that included his younger brother, Rocco, and his sister, Sofia.
In the middle of the meeting (incidentally, while discussing Rocco's drug and alcohol problem), Marcello suddenly started to choke. Following suit, Sofia and also the general counsel of the company, Jacinta Banchoff, started to convulse.
After being rushed to the hospital, Jacinta passed away and the other two survived.
Faith came to Will’s house to inform him of the case and take him to the GBI headquarters. The two detectives were soon informed that Marcello was in stable condition and the detectives could have a word with him and Rocco.
However, the doctors later notified them that Sofia had passed away too, kickstarting the main conflict of the episode.
Who were the main suspects at Sovrano Industries?
As the investigation at Sovrano began, the detectives soon realised that someone inside the office must have added the poison to the drinks, not an outsider. Initially, the detectives suspected Marcello’s secretary Olivia, thinking that she may have been attracted to her boss and wanted to do off with him after he jilted her.
However, an interrogation with Olivia dismissed that theory.
Olivia did reveal that the reason Marcello survived was that he asked for a glass of gin before drinking the poisoned juice. The alcohol acted as an antidote for him, and was the reason that he did not die.
Another suspect for the detectives was an estranged Sovrano sibling named Francesca. She had refused to be a part of the family business and lived in Europe. But, Will was notified that she returned to Atlanta two days before the murders.
Who was finally responsible for the deaths at the company in Will Trent season 3 episode 3?
Will Trent and Faith slowly started uncovering the secrets that each employee had, which led to the crime being solved. It turned out that Rocco Sovrano had many assault charges against him but had always been protected by his brother Marcello.
To do this, Marcello would make Jacinta use the company's finances and pay off the victims, which she was reluctant to do.
At the point where Jacinta planned on quitting, and even called Francesca for moral support, Marcello had her killed. Unfortunately, his sister Sofia also accidentally drank one of the poisoned drinks and became an unintended casualty.

What was Angie's case at her residential complex?
Angie Polaski found a case in the residential complex where she was working after her suspension from the Atlanta Police Department. For the case, Angie found a severed finger lodged in the beak of a dead swan, getting intrigued by what was going on.
After some investigation and analysis of the finger with some old APD contacts, Angie found out the location of Fierro Farms, and went there to investigate. She was introduced to Brent and Davis, the men who ran the farm, and Davis was missing a finger.
Meanwhile, the nanny of the house (named Alma) also had a few bruises on her face, which she claimed happened when she fell down during the night.
After her investigation, Angie realised that a handyman named John had seen the whole thing firsthand. He caught Davis assaulting Alma, after which he accidentally lost his finger in the auto-shutting doors in the shed.
Angie also found out that Brent and Davis were forcing helpless immigrants to work for them by taking away their documents and keeping them imprisoned.
She single-handedly busted this ring. After Davis and Brent were arrested, Angie was awarded by the APD with the permission to serve again.
