The fifth episode in the series will revolve around Billie, who will explore new dimensions of life without using her magical powers. In the episode, Justin has decided to take Billie's wand away from her. She had been so used to her magic that he had forgotten to think even once before using her powers.

Justin had told her that she would only get her wand back when she started taking her powers seriously. What happened previous to Wizards Beyond Waverly Place episode 5

The previous episode, titled Something Wizard This Way Comes, takes at the Russo household during Halloween. Billie is the most excited about this day and, in the very morning, wakes up to give presents to Milo and Roman, which turns out to be bizarre. Being a witch-in-training herself, Halloween is one of the most special days for her.

The viewers are introduced to an old tale where a monster called Pumpkin Belly storms into a house that is not decorated. It then eats its candies and its children. When Billie finds out about it, she tells it to Winter and Roman. But things turn eerie when Winter lures the true monster into their home.

Roman and Billie are eaten by the monster, and they use soda and mints to make it throw them out. But they go inside its stomach back again when Winter reminds them she had left her phone inside the stomach. There is an old tradition on Staten Island that on Halloween night, the houses of the middle school principals are egged.

Justin, being the acting principal, takes Giada's help to save their house from the kids setting traps. The episode explores the night of the family celebrating this mortal festival. It ends up leaving some hearty laughs and giggles, with Billie slowly becoming a part of the Russo family.
