The first two episodes of the Wizards Beyond Waverly Place are out on Disney Channel. Since the show's announcement, there has been much speculation about the cast, particularly regarding who would take center stage in the narrative.

The double premiere episode of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place addressed these questions by spotlighting the primary cast of the show.

1) Janice LeAnn Brown as Billie

Billie is the central character in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. She is a young, curious wizard who is brought to Justin's doorstep by her sister Alex, who wants him to train her in wizadry.

Janice LeAnn Brown is fairly new to the industry, which explains her limited body of work. However, despite that, she is recognized for her roles in projects such as Growing Up Immigrant (2018), Euphoria (2019), and Best Foot Forward (2022).

2) Alkaio Thiele as Roman Russo

Alkaio Thiele plays Roman Russo in the show, the eldest son of Justin and Giada Russo and the older brother of Milo Russo.

Just like Janice LeAnn Brown, Alkaio Thiele is also new to the industry and has a couple of credits under his name. These include Call Me Kat (2022), The Wingfeather Saga (2022-2024), and Spidey and His Amazing Friends (2024).

Max Matenko plays Milo Russo in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. He is the youngest son of Justin and Giada Russo. This makes him Roman's younger brother.

David Henrie portrays Justin Russo in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. He is the husband of Giada Russo and the father of Roman and Milo Russo. At the start of the show, it is disclosed that Justin has abandoned his wizarding life in search of a conventional existence. However, this changes with the arrival of Billie, who requires guidance in wizardry.

David Henrie is the only person in the main cast who is reprising his role from the original Wizards of the Waverly Place series. Besides the show, he is also known for his roles in How I Met Your Mother (2005-2014), This is the Year (2020), and Reagan (2024).
