The Team Kit from Adidas features the spirit of sportsmen and mingles them with the unique insignia of different countries. The brand said in the press release,
"In Paris, adidas will capture the flame that burns within every athlete through impactful fonts and detailed graphics – that feature across all apparel created for its 15 officially sponsored teams; signifying there is no international unifier like the passion for sport. To express the fire within athletes, the kits’ graphics, typeface, and all over print use a repeated line pattern which is brought to life through pops of color, conveying the roaring passion that is ready to emerge in the heat of competition."
In the Paris Olympics, Adidas has selected nine teams in total, including Team GB, Team D, Hungary, Poland, Ethiopia, Ireland, Bahrain, Cuba, and Turkey. The Paralympic teams will be six in number, which consists of ParalympicsGB, Team D Paralympics, Poland Paralympic Team, Cuba, Turkey, and Paralympics Ireland.
The design director of Adidas, Jacqueline King, shared,
"Our belief is that there is no greater demonstration of what it means to design for an athlete, than a tournament that showcases the breadth and variety of sport. Alongside the goal of supporting the athlete to perform at their best when the pressure builds, these collections seek to connect them to their home nations, via designs inspired by their individual national identities. These elements are brought together in a kit which is grounded in simplicity – resulting in a sleek, modern collection."
One of the notable features of the Adidas Kit for the Paris Olympics is the Inclusivity, which is the universal design standard. It emphasizes the performance that reaches the pinnacle when the discomfort vanishes. Based on this principle and Adidas' experience of 100 years, Inclusivity will be applied at the Paris Olympics.
Also, Adidas is launching the 2024 Athlete Pack, which consists of forty-nine footwear collections. All the collections will serve 41 disciplines, and among them, at least twenty will be shown at the Paris Olympics in 2024.
In the footwear collection, the above-mentioned theme is applied here too. Along with the black upper and pink outsole, the shoes incorporate a striking orange color in the pack.
