Nike-owned Jordan Brand recently unveiled another newly designed variant of its Air Jordan 1 Mid model. This time around, the stated sneaker model is dressed up in an “Oxidized Green” colorway. This shoe is entirely decked in a White/Black-Light Dew-Oxidized Green-Sail-Muslin palette.
Like other colorways of this mid-top model, the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Oxidized Green” iteration is anticipated to hit the shelves with a retail price label of $125 per pair. They will be sold via the online and offline sites of Nike. These shoes will be offered exclusively in women’s sizes.
Features of Air Jordan 1 Mid “Oxidized Green” sneakers
Fresh colorways for the Jordan 1 Mid collection pay homage to past designs while embracing the present, showcasing Nike's ongoing innovation within the classic Air Jordan 1 series. With its white and oxidized green color scheme, this new version takes design cues from the iconic Jordan 1 "Black Toe," but updates the color scheme with a colorful new palette.
The shoe features a classic design with a sturdy leather upper. The toe box, which is loaded with perforations for breathability, is composed of white leather. This toe top is surrounded by a bold black mudguard, giving the shoe a daring and robust appearance.
Besides mudguards, black is also utilized for eyelets. Here, the white tongue flap is topped with black eyelets that are all finished off with matching black lace sets. Towards the outer side of the tongue flap, the tags are adorned with the green Jumpman logo.
The black swoosh that cuts across the middle of the footwear stands in stark contrast to the greenish tint that stretches to the ankle collar region as well as extends across the heel counter. This Oxidized Green overlay around the collar area bears an opulent reptilian skin-like texture. These textured overlays are embossed with a bold black Jordan Brand wing logo.
The worn-in sole gives these shoes their distinctive character, giving them a more retro vibe while also hinting at their long history and classic good looks. These insoles and sock liners are also covered in black hues. The insole is finished off with a printed green Jumpman logo.
Regardless of the colorway, the Jordan 1 Mid has consistently served as a platform for exploration. Both long-time Jordan fans and novices can find something to their liking in Nike's reimagining of classic designs, which features updated color palettes and a deliberately worn appearance.
Be on the lookout for the Air Jordan 1 Mid Oxidized Green colorway that will supposedly hit the shelves in the coming weeks this year. Jordanheads and other interested parties are encouraged to stay in touch with the Nike site for timely alerts on their arrival.
In addition to the abovementioned “Oxidized Green” colorway, the Jumpman label has also released many other variations of the Air Jordan 1 Mid silhouette in recent weeks. The “Industrial Blue," “Vivid Sulfur,” and “Jade Smoke” are a few of the iterations that were most recently offered for sale.
These shoes were dropped via Nike’s online stores. While the Industrial Blue rendition was offered for $135 per pair, the other two variants were marked with a $125 price tag.
