Puma x PlayStation has announced the release of a capsule collection set for April 18, 2024, as announced by the PUMA newsroom on April 15, 2024.

PlayStation, the brainchild of Sony Interactive Entertainment, has partnered with Puma to provide a fresh outlook on athleisure wear and some of the German brand's iconic sneaker designs.

The products in the Puma x PlayStation capsule collection include track jackets, technical caps, hoodies, and shorts. The Puma Suede and RS-X sneakers will also feature PlayStation detailing, gradient color schemes, and debossed prints.

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, the men’s Suede sneaker will be sold for $100 and the RS-X will be sold for $120 per pair. The sneakers would be available for men and women in adult and kids sizing.

The new Puma x PlayStation collection drops on April 18

Puma’s newsroom introduced the collection:

”Embarking on an exciting new quest together, PUMA and Sony Interactive Entertainment introduce a new PUMA x PLAYSTATION collection designed to take your style to new heights.”

The Puma x PlayStation collection reportedly features:

1) The Puma Suede in white

The Puma Suede receives a white-colored treatment with the PlayStation insignia embossed on the shoe’s body and tongue. The shoe laces are set in white and the sides feature a hint of black with a PlayStation tag attached to the tongue with a silver chain.

The outsoles of the shoes are set in translucent blue. There’s a bit of drama underneath the shoes, as the four PlayStation shapes are also placed there.

2) The Puma Suede in black

The Puma Suede undergoes similar treatment to its white-colored counterpart. The sneakers are predominantly enveloped in black, with the white PlayStation prints on the tongue.

The black Puma Suede also features PlayStation shapes embossed on the sides while the sole is decked out in dark blue. A white design runs along the side of the shoes and a PlayStation charm is also attached to the tongue with a silver tag.

3) The RS-X Glacial Grey/ Blue Skies

This edition of the RS-X is draped in white, blue, and black. The tongue also features the Puma logo and the PlayStation shapes stitched on.

The sides of the shoes feature black and blue detailing, creating a contrast against the white around them.

The underside of the shoes is also embossed with the PlayStation shapes.

4) The RS-X in black

Just like its counterpart, the black version features a chunky silhouette accented by white and blue designs on the waist and outsole. The tongue also received the PlayStation treatment with white shapes imprinted on it.

The charms are attached to the shoes by a metallic chain. The underside of the shoes also feature the PlayStation shapes.

5) Apparel and athleisure wear

Although images of the other apparel in the collection haven't been released, video clips show T-shirts, hoodies, shorts, and face caps with the Playstation shapes.

Puma Newsroom says:

”Play-inspired graphics, holo-scene prints, and shimmer techniques punctuate the collaboration’s apparel, while the PUMA and PLAYSTATION collection also serves up new renditions of the Suede and RS-X sneakers.”

The brand further states:

”Taking inspiration from cutting-edge PUMATECH technology, the apparel’s performance-inspired cuts are emblazoned with the iconic PlayStation shapes.”

The Puma x PlayStation collection is set to drop on April 18, 2024, on Puma.com, Puma stores, and selected Puma stockists.
