1) The allegations and drama surrounding MrBeast

Jimmy "MrBeast" is considered to be the platform's biggest content creator by far, with over 318 million subscribers at the time of writing. Considering his stature, the internet was surprised to find out about the YouTuber's "dark" side, involving multiple allegations ranging from hiring convicted sex offenders to employee mistreatment.
Former MrBeast employee Dawson "DogPack 404" played a major role in amplifying these accusations, which was done through a series of investigative, documentary-style videos starting with a feature titled "I Worked For MrBeast, He's A Fraud."
In the videos, Dawson alleged that the YouTuber fabricates some of his videos and also claimed that multiple individuals, some in positions of power, on the MrBeast team had histories of sexual misconduct. Adding to this, representations from Jake Weddle, another former employee, detailed instances of employee negligence.
The cherry on top of the MrBeast scandal saga in 2024 was the Beast Games controversy, which revolves around allegations of workplace misconduct and unsafe working conditions during the production of the YouTuber's Amazon Prime series. The controversy has escalated with ongoing lawsuits, further damaging his reputation.
2) The "Lunchly" Drama
One of the most talked-about incidents this year involves MrBeast, Logan Paul, and KSI with the launch of their food brand, Lunchly. Aimed at providing healthier alternatives to prepackaged meals, Lunchly quickly became a subject of contention when DanTDM criticized the product, accusing the trio of "selling crap to kids."

Later on, it was revealed that he had planned this stunt as a social experiment for over two years. He had pre-planned uploads on his channel and in the background, he worked to shed the weight.
Before this as well, Nicholas was consistently surrounded by controversy, especially due to his extreme eating challenges and public meltdowns. Once a vegan content creator, Nikocado shifted to mukbang (eating large quantities of food on camera), which led to concerns over his declining physical and mental health.
His on-camera behavior, including emotional breakdowns, aggressive outbursts, and volatile arguments with his husband, Orlin, has sparked criticism for promoting unhealthy lifestyles.
