YouTube star Jimmy "MrBeast" stands as one of the most popular creators right now. At the time of writing, he is YouTube's most subscribed creator (306M followers). Those familiar with Jimmy will also know that his videos are typically big-budgeted and require a large production with a big crew. The YouTuber also has a few long-term associates who almost always appear in his videos.

However, over the years (and recently), several creators have left the MrBeast channel, some going on to be involved in controversies of their own. This article will list five such controversial members who were once part of the MrBeast team.

5 controversial members of MrBeast's team who have left

1) Ava Kris Tyson

Formerly known as Chris Tyson, Kris is a trans creator who was part of MrBeast's team until earlier this week. For those who are unaware, she, like MrBeast, is also a North Carolina native and has been with the latter since the channel's inception in 2012.

However, recently there have been serious allegations against her, including instances of grooming and supporting artworks depicting inappropriate content (CP). Following these allegations, she released a statement apologizing for her conduct and announced that she would be permanently leaving Jimmy's crew.

2) Sneako

The second name on the list is Rumble streamer Nico "Sneako." Sneako has already become a household name within the streaming community, mostly due to controversial content. While it may be a known fact by now, Sneako was part of Jimmy's crew at one point in time (around 2018) and even appeared in a video titled I Built a Working Car Using Only LEGOS.

Since leaving, however, Sneako has become a notorious streamer known for his 'red pill' content, which typically refers to far-right views. He has faced bans from several platforms, such as Instagram and YouTube, mostly due to the contentious statements that he has made (typically on the LGBTQ community).

3) Jake The Viking

Jake "Jake The Viking" (or simply the Viking) is another member and former friend of MrBeast who has left his team. He initially appeared in the 2018 video Do Water Repellent Shoes Actually Work? and continued to feature in multiple videos until 2020, when he announced his departure.

Jake The Viking, like Sneako, has also become infamous for his controversial takes on Ava. For instance, in a post by Twitch streamer Nick "Nickmercs" where he was seen criticizing Ava, alleging that she had left her family, Jake replied by stating "Let 'em know!" indicating that he too holds a strong opinion on the trans-creator.

4) Matt Turner

Matt Turner is a former editor for MrBeast who joined sometime around 2017. However, he left the team after working with them for only five months. Following his exit, he shared a wholesome video thanking Jimmy for the opportunity. Despite the positive words, a year later, he took to his X account to accuse Jimmy of being toxic, labeling his experience "mentally draining."

This call-out post, however, ended up backfiring as many people including YouTuber Keemstar started to question the authenticity of his post since he was thankful to Jimmy only a year ago. Later in a YouTube video, he apologized for creating the whole ordeal.

5) FlyyDoesYT

Another member who has garnered controversy after leaving the MrBeast team is FlyyDoesYT. The YouTuber posted a video on his channel titled My Experience Editing For MrBeast (Worst Week of My Life), where he alleged that Jimmy doesn't even appear in his videos, among other claims.

MrBeast responded to these claims on his X account, firing back and urging people to ask the streamers and creators he has helped financially about his character. Additionally, this story was picked up by Drama Alert, during which Jimmy stated that he had even paid for FlyyDoesYT's Uber, hotel, and flight.
