Kick streamer Adin Ross is no stranger to feuds and controversies with other creators. A similar saga has unfolded involving the Kick streamer and Naima Troutt, a self-proclaimed liberal. Troutt became popular from her appearance in the Jubilee video titled Can 25 Liberal College Students Outsmart 1 Conservative? where she debated conservative political activist Charlie Kirk.
Recently, Ross tried to set up a debate between Troutt and Nick Fuentes (a far-right political commentator). However, this attempt to set up a discussion sparked a feud between Troutt and Ross. This article will look to delve into the details of the drama.
What happened between Adin Ross and Jubilee participant Naima Troutt?
Adin Ross has previously set up debates (where he has mostly acted as a host) between other creators. However, his latest attempt has sparked drama after viral Jubilee participant Naima Troutt publicly called him out over the situation.
Yesterday (October 17, 2024), Troutt took to her official TikTok account (hair.soup) to reveal that Adin Ross offered her a whopping $20,000 to debate Nick Fuentes. However, Troutt turned this down. She explained:
"A few days ago Adin Ross hit me up and offered me $20,000 to debate Nick Fuentes and I said no. I said no, for several reasons but the biggest one is that he is a white supremacist. I feel like this is self-explanatory, but if you engage in a debate with a leader of a hate group you are legitimizing that as a perspective that should be considered."
She then called out Adin Ross over his attempt at setting up the debate, stating:
"It's kind of hilarious that Adin Ross tried to pay a girl $20,000 to talk to him and she still said no. That's just funny. You guys get advice from him, Jesus Christ. That's kind of my take on it."
Adin Ross responds to Naima Troutt
It didn't take long for Adin Ross to respond to Naima Troutt's explanation of why she turned down his $20,000 offer to debate Nick Fuentes. The streamer quickly fired back (during his October 18 stream) with a tirade against her, escalating the situation further. He said:
"How is that funny? It looks like you need the money by (looking at) the walls of your apartment, by the way you look. You look like you need the money."
He added:
"I think you f**ked up by saying no because when your little sh*t wears off, this little hype that you have, this feminist hype, after Trump wins or Kamala wins, nobody's gonna give a f**k about these people."
He further ridiculed Troutt, stating:
"She did need the $20,000. Look at her bed frame, look at this sh*t. You should've taken the $20,000. You could've debated, you just seemed scared."
This isn't the first time Kick streamer Adin Ross has tried to set up a debate between a Jubilee participant and Nick Fuentes. He previously set up Dean Withers, who appeared in one of Jubilee's 20v1 videos, to debate with Fuentes.
