This step seems natural for the creator, who is currently the most subscribed individual channel on YouTube.

Jimmy is no stranger to the concept of game shows, with him hosting multiple game-show-like challenges on his channel, including videos such as Every Country On Earth Fights For $250,000! and Survive 100 Days Trapped, Win $500,000.

MrBeast has been talking about the tie-up with Prime Video for a while now, officially announcing it back in March 2024. As per the official website, Beast Games has some basic requirements that must be met before one can participate. For one, the potential candidate has to be the age of 18 years or above when applying. Further, a passport valid through April 2025 should be present.

The individual also needs to be available in late June and may need to be available as late as September 2024, with the dates subject to change. Importantly, the competition is only considering those candidates with a valid U.S. Social Security or Tax ID number, or appropriate visa(s)/waiver(s) allowing them to legally compete for a spot in Beast Games in the United States.

To further solidify their chances, interested candidates may make a one-minute video of themselves with the listed topics on the website, including what their basic details are, and their ideas with a million dollars, among others.

Recently, Jimmy posted on X about the games. Labeling it as "the largest game show ever in history", with about 5,000 participants needed. The winners of the game show will win money from a prize pool of $5,000,000. This is substantially larger than the prize pools in his videos, usually ranging from $100,000 to $250,000 and rarely $1,000,000.
