The Esports Awards is gearing up for yet another edition. The event is set to be hosted on August 24, 2024 (Saturday) with some big names among the nominees. This year's event will be hosted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the first time. Riyadh has recently become a hub for several sporting events (including a possible FIFA World Cup event in 2034).
Just like last time, the Esports Awards has some major content creators who might pick up an award or two. This story will discuss the streamers with some of the biggest (and best) viewership in 2024.
In terms of numbers alone (average and peak viewership), one name that stands out on top has to be Twitch's Kai Cenat. The streamer has pretty much smashed all the records in the past few years. However, there are other names worth looking at as well.
Exploring the viewer bases of streamers nominated in the Esports Awards 2024
As with every year, the 2024 Esports Awards will spotlight some of the biggest names in content creation and streaming. It's only fitting to begin with arguably the most famous figure in the content creation world - Darren "IShowSpeed" (nominated for the Streamer of the Year award).
The Ohio-born streamer is among the most recognizable names in the content creation scene. As of now, he has over 28 million subscribers on YouTube. In terms of viewership, he has typically averaged between 30K and 100K viewers in his recent streams.
Twitch streamer Kai Cenat, who is also nominated for the Streamer of the Year award, has been doing great in recent times. He has elevated his game by averaging an impressive 100K viewers over the past 30 days, with a peak viewership of over 350K during that period.
Another Twitch streamer making waves is Case "CaseOh," who has gained significant momentum over the past two years. In the last 30 days, he has averaged over 54K viewers, with a peak viewership of 87K.
Another Streamer of the Year nominee is Nicholas "Jynxzi," who has averaged over 49,000 viewers in the past month. During this period, he reached an impressive peak of 105,000 viewers.
Among the non-English speaking streamers nominated at the Esports Awards, the two who stand out the most are Ibai "Ibai" and Samantha "Rivers_gg," both nominated for the Streamer of the Year award.
Ibai averages 26K viewers, while Rivers_gg averages 12K viewers. Ibai also peaked at a whopping 3.8 million concurrent viewers in his La Velada Del Ano 4 stream (almost 300K more than the previous edition).

It's important to remember that any of the streamers mentioned above could win the Streamer of the Year award. The final decision may come down to their influence, content variety, and overall impact on the community.
