Twitch streamer and FaZe Clan member Jason "Jasontheween" (760K followers) has taken the streaming world by storm. The streamer is currently involved in a month-long subathon (along with other FaZe Clan members/streamers like Max "Plaqueboymax," Rani "Stable Ronaldo" and Nick "Lacy."). Jason surpassed his peers by securing over 100K subscribers (a number that is still going up).
At the time of writing (September 30, 2024), the streamer is currently on 102K subscribers. This makes him the second most subscribed streamer on Twitch currently. The only streamer above him is popular VTuber Ironmouse, who has 271K subscribers (she is also in a subathon).
The other streamers that Jasontheween toppled in terms of subscribers include AMP member Kai Cenat (101K subscribers), Nicholas "Jynxzi" (100K subscribers), Case "CaseOh_" (79K subscribers), and Hasan "HasanAbi" (71K subscribers).
How did Jasontheween become popular? Exploring his online career
FaZe Clan member Jasontheween began his career on another popular social media platform, TikTok. During the pandemic, he began uploading various skits and comedic reels, which helped him gain recognition.
However, his real fame became apparent after he joined the Amazon-owned platform, Twitch. The streamer began streaming on Twitch in March 2021, focusing primarily on popular first-person tactical hero shooter Valorant and content under the "Just Chatting" category.
In 2021, he averaged around 500-700 viewers. However, his viewership began skyrocketing around March 2022, when he first broke the 1,000-viewer barrier. Currently, he averages around 11,000 viewers per stream over the past month.

After making waves for a couple of years, the streamer got his big break in May 2024, when he was announced as one of four new creators to sign a contract as a content creator for the popular gaming organization FaZe Clan. The other three creators who joined alongside him were Lacy, Plaqueboymax, and Silky.
Jasontheween has also appeared in various collaborative projects, including a cooking stream with Blaire "QTCinderella," a mock debate stream with Hasan "HasanAbi" and has even participated in Ludwig's Streamer Games, where he was one of four representatives of Team FaZe Clan.
Exploring his viral subathon
Jasontheween's subathon has been one of the most productive runs in his career so far. The fact that other FaZe Clan members are also participating in the subathon event contributed to his broadcast's success as well.
Jasontheween's streams have primarily been under the "Just Chatting" category, with occasional IRL (in real life) streams. He has also played games such as Fortnite, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Modern Warfare III, Valorant, and NBA 2K25.
One of his most viral streams was a recent IRL date stream, where he was seated on a beach when confronted by a stranger. The individual ended up attacking him by throwing a pumpkin at his head. Fortunately, he was not injured in the incident.
Currently, Jason has garnered the most subscribers among FaZe Clan members. The other streamers include Plaqueboymax (77K subscribers), Stable Ronaldo (63K subscribers), Adapt (63K subscribers), Lacy (45K subscribers), and Silky (25K subscribers).
