Lily "Shylily" is among the more popular names in the VTuber scene. The streamer has over 1.4 million followers on Twitch, making her the third most followed virtual content creator on the Amazon-owned platform. The only two VTubers with more followers than her are Ironmouse (2.1 million) and Nimu Spacecat (2.5 million).
As is the case for many virtual YouTubers, fans are curious to see Shylily's real face. While she hasn't officially revealed it online yet, some fans and creators have seen her real face.
VTuber Shylily has shown her real face to some people
VTubers' real faces often intrigue fans, as the people behind these virtual content creators go to great lengths to keep their identities a secret. However, in Shylily's case, while she hasn’t officially revealed her face during a broadcast, she has shown her face to some people.
Lily has attended TwitchCon events in the past, the popular bi-annual convention hosted by the streaming platform. During her visits, she took numerous selfies and photos with fans as well as other creators, where her face was either partially or fully visible.
However, none of these pictures made it to social media. The ones that are available on websites like X have her face hidden with stickers and emojis to protect her identity. For instance, one fan met her during the recently concluded TwitchCon 2024 (San Diego), after which they made this post:
The VTuber has posted pictures with other individuals on her X.com account. For instance, she snapped a picture with Canadian rapper and singer bbno$. However, she hid her face with her VTubing avatar.
One True King (OTK) member and Twitch streamer John "Tectone" also took a picture with the VTuber during last year’s TwitchCon event (October 2023). Instead of using an emoji, he hid Lily’s face with his hands.
Another influencer the virtual content creator shared a selfie with was popular Malaysian comedian and YouTuber Nigel Ng, aka Uncle Roger. Lily posted the picture on her X.com account:
Alongside being a VTuber, Shylily is a solo creator, meaning she is not associated with major agencies like VShojo or Hololive Production.
She has also received notable accolades, including being named Best Just Chatting Streamer at the 2023 VTuber Awards.
