Following the recent controversy surrounding the 2024 Paris Olympics' opening ceremony, internet personality Andrew Tate organized a protest outside the French embassy in Romania on July 28, 2024. Tate protested on the streets of Romania and held placards outside the French embassy telling onlookers that he was protesting against the opening act parody of Last Supper mocking Jesus Christ at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Sharing a video of his protest, Andrew Tate took to X (formerly Twitter) on July 28, 2024, and mentioned in his tweet that the police were threatening to arrest him for unlawful assembly as he stood outside the French embassy protesting for mocking Jesus. His tweet stated:

"I am currently on bail, and will face a minimum 3 months in prison. I do this as a Muslim. WHERE ARE THE CHRISTIANS?"

The 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony featured a parody of what looked like the Last Supper which is the gospel account of Jesus Christ's last meal. A rendition of the same was performed by drag queens at the Olympics opening ceremony which received backlash from several prominent personalities including Elon Musk.

The 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony took place on July 26, 2024, and the act of the Last Supper by drag queens created a stir all over the internet.

Expressing his condemning views toward the same, internet personality Andrew Tate took to X on July 27, 2024, and announced that he was boycotting the Olympics. He also mentioned that he won't be watching any of the sports, calling the opening ceremony "disgusting". Additionally, Tate also mentioned his plans to protest outside the French embassy in Romania and ended his tweet by stating 'respect Jesus".

In the videos of the protest shared by Andrew Tate, he could be seen holding a placard that reads "Boycott the Olympics" and his brother Tristian holding a placard stating "Christianity will not be mocked". One of the placards also featured a pictorial comparison of a painting of the Last Supper with the one performed at the opening ceremony of the Olympics.

In a follow-up tweet, Tate mentioned that in the future people will discuss this "pivotal moment in history" and question why the Christians didn't stick up for their beliefs. Additionally, Tate questioned why the Christians allowed "the demons to win" and mock them.

He also stated that he will not be remembered as a coward and that:

"I will not let Jesus be mocked"

Moreover, Andrew Tate's stance against the 2024 Paris Olympics and the rendition of the Last Supper took a turn after his protest outside the French embassy as he began criticizing the Christians for not taking a stand for their faith.

In multiple tweets after the protest, Andrew Tate questioned Christians asking them how they sleep in their comfortable homes "as they mock you?". In another tweet dated July 29, 2024, Tate took a dig at Christians stating they "talk a big talk" and love to tweet and that one can't get them out of their chairs even if Jesus is mocked.


In other news, Andrew Tate currently awaits trial on counts of r*pe, human trafficking, and forming an organized crime group. In a recent development in his case dated July 5, 2024, the Bucharest Tribunal ruled that the internet personality is allowed to leave Romania but he must remain in the European Union.
