Twitch streamer Alastair, better known online as "Eret," has recently come under the internet's scrutiny over their alleged response regarding the controversy surrounding Ava Kris Tyson. For those unaware, Eret and Ava are currently dating. Both are creators who belong to the LGBTQIA+ community.
Eret streams Minecraft content on Twitch and is a friend of the Dream Team (Clay "Dream," George "GeorgeNotFound," Nicholas "Sapnap"). The streamer was also part of the popular Minecraft server Dream SMP (joined on July 19, 2020).
Eret has also had a history of collaborations with members of the Dream Team. They participated in the popular MC Championship; on multiple occasions, they were teammates of Dream and GeorgeNotFound. They've also collaborated with the two on live streams, such as playing Among Us together.

What did Eret say about the Ava Kris Tyson situation?
Twitch streamer Eret has garnered significant attention following their alleged response to the ongoing controversy involving their partner, Ava Kris Tyson, which went viral. The response was shared by an X account under the name @mrbeastexpo.
Regarding the grooming allegations, Eret asserts that Ava was unaware of LavaGS's age, one of the alleged victims, at the time of their conversation. For those unfamiliar, these conversations were inappropriate and explicit, mostly taking place on a now-deleted Discord server.
They wrote (as per the post shared by @mrbeastexpo):
"The videos detailed a story of LavaGS, one of Ava's old Discord mods who would go on to get a job at Beast. LavaGS was 14 at the time, which Ava only learned much later on. Lava made a statement expressing that 'Ava never did anything wrong.' See Tweet."
However, LavaGS came forward on August 14. 2024, to dismiss Eret's claims, instead alleging that Tyson knew his age (he was 14 at the time of the controversy).
"Kris definitely knew my age around 2018. Also, the reason Discord deleted is entirely incorrect as well. It was deleted about 10 months after I started at MrBeastGaming, I worked for them for 12 months. Not 9."
Eret has not yet officially responded to the alleged leaked response shared by the anonymous X user. However, they did react when the controversy first broke out last month (July 2024). In their post, Eret mentioned that the controversy stemmed from a time when Ava was more edgy, and it occurred before her transition.
Ava Kris Tyson herself hasn't shared any comments since announcing that she parted ways with the MrBeast team. She did, however, apologize for her past actions but dismissed the pedophilia allegations.
