YouTube star and content creator Richard Bengtson, or as he is popularly known as "FaZe Banks," is synonymous with the world-renowned gaming organization. Over the past year or so, there have been some massive changes in the administrative department of the clan, and has seen some massive names get new roles.
At the time of writing, FaZe Banks is the official CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of the organization. He is also among the investors (owners) in the company. However, it's worth noting that, FaZe Clan was recently acquired by gaming analytics and esports brand company GameSquare in an all-stock deal.
While the financial details of the transaction were not officially disclosed, according to reports by Bloomberg News, the deal was worth a whopping $17 million. GameSquare will own a 55% share of FaZe Clan. The rest will be owned by current FaZe investors (minority investments).
