Darren Watkins Jr., better known as "IShowSpeed," has been making headlines since his collaboration with South Korean influencer Amy Flamy. IShowSpeed and Amy Flamy met for the first time on May 14, 2024, when the YouTube star visited South Korea.

On May 25, 2024, the two internet personalities teamed up for an IRL livestream. They visited Wembley Stadium in London to watch the FA Cup final between Manchester United and Manchester City. A moment from the broadcast has gone viral on social media, during which Darren asked Amy for a kiss to celebrate Manchester United's goal.

He said:

"Oh my god! Best day ever! Oh my god, Amy, you should kiss me! Do it! Do it! We just scored! Do it, we just scored!"

Later in the stream, Amy Flamy gifted IShowSpeed a special One Piece-themed iPhone cover. The Ohio native was surprised by the influencer's thoughtful gesture and hugged her. While expressing his gratitude, Darren claimed he was "catching feelings" for Amy:

"I'm catching feelings, chat. No! Oh, why are you doing this, bro? You know what you're doing, bruh. (Amy asks, 'Do you like it, though?') I like it. I actually do like it. So cute. Thank you!"

A few moments later, the YouTuber admitted he "liked" Amy Flamy. However, he was not ready to ask her out.

"Yes, chat, I do like her. Chat, I do. I'm going to be honest, I do like her. But I don't know if I'm ready yet to ask her out, though."

"I honestly, genuinely think Speed is really cute" - South Korean TikToker Amy Flamy opens up about her experience with IShowSpeed

Amy Flamy recently took to TikTok to share her experience with IShowSpeed, claiming that going on a date with the YouTuber was "crazy." She also described their "cute little moments," saying:

"First of all, I got to meet the IShowSpeed and I went on a date him. That's crazy! And we had our cute little moments, and it was all cute! And when I tell you - IShowSpeed has a crazy amount of fans in Korea. Whatever you're thinking, double it, because honestly, I thought we were literally filming Train to Busan with, like, a zombie apocalypse because fans were coming from all over!"

A few moments later, Amy Flamy responded to those claiming she collaborated with Darren for "clout and money." The content creator said:

"I see a lot of comments saying like, 'Oh, she's just doing this for clout. She's capping. She's lying. She doesn't think Speed is good-looking. She's just doing it for the money, blah, blah, blah.' First of all... I was not lying. Second of all, I don't need no money. Like, I don't need money. I'm good."

Amy then shared her thoughts about IShowSpeed, describing him as "really cute" and a "great person":

"Third - I honestly, genuinely think Speed is really cute. Like, if you see him off-camera, he's really good-looking. Seriously! And he has a great personality on-camera and off-camera, as well as, like, he's just a great person."

Amy Flamy also addressed allegations that her association with Darren was "scripted." She remarked:

"Oh, and I see a lot of you guys commenting if the video was scripted. I don't know, believe what you believe because if I say it wasn't scripted, you're still not going to believe me. If I say it was scripted, you're still not going to believe me. So, believe what you believe."

On May 24, 2024, IShowSpeed and Amy Flamy got together for a date stream in London, United Kingdom. At one point, the YouTube streamer decided to impress Amy by staging a robbery and instructing a viewer to snatch her shopping bag. The incident has since gone viral on social media platforms like Reddit and X.
