100 Thieves co-owner and CEO, Matthew "Nadeshot" revealed during a recent stream that he had incurred a salary cut to be able to afford new contracts to develop the roster of the organization's team (LA Thieves) for the professional Call of Duty League (CDL). Though no date has been announced for the start of the new season of the CDL, the last one began in December 2023 and lasted till June 2024.

Nadeshot revealed the sacrifice he had made in his salary following his being gifted 50 subscriptions by a viewer. Reacting with much excitement to the viewer's donation, Nadeshot gave him a shoutout and stated:

"Frankie! Frankie with the fifty gifted! Yo, yo, Frankie, this actually makes a big difference, bro."

Nadeshot claims he took a salary cut to get CDL contracts as 100 Thieves "ran out of money"

Besides being a highly influential personality within the gaming community and the organizational lead in his professional career, Nadeshot has a family consisting of his wife Haley, and daughter, Gracie. Nadeshot and his wife married each other in July 2023. In his revelation regarding the salary cut, he mentioned that his family has also had to bear the financial brunt of his acquiring the CDL contracts.

Talking about the constraints his family had been facing due to acquiring the contracts "over the line," Nadeshot revealed:

"I'm not even going to live chat. I wasn't sure if I was going to talk about it, but my wife and Gracie's feeling the effects of this decision, bro, because I gave up part of my own salary to get these contracts over the line, bro, because we ran out of money. "

Subsequently, he expressed his gratitude for the subscriptions he had been gifted thus far by his viewers:

"So, these subs are a very big deal, gentlemen. Thank you very, very much."

Nadeshot had recently commented on leaks that had emerged regarding the roster of LA Thieves and spoke regarding the difficulties faced by him due to the fan expectations that had emerged as a result of the aforementioned leaks.
