AMP recently released a 2024 iteration of its 2024 Freshman Cypher, which is its take on the XXL Freshman Cyphers. For this year's version, Any Means Possible (AMP) members Din "Agent 00 Gaming," Duke "Duke Dennis Gaming," Roberto "JustFanum," Chris "ChrisNxtDoor," Davis "ImDavisss," and Kai Cenat were accompanied by special guest, actor and comedian Kevin Hart.
The music video of the AMP Cypher has gone viral and has achieved over 3.1 million views as of writing, with the numbers continuing to go up. It has overtaken the XXL Freshman Cypher by a mile, with its viewcount standing at 515,000.
Fans have been reacting to the news of the AMP Cypher overtaking the Freshman Cypher within five days. While many commented on the popularity the group has attained and compared them to mainstream rappers, others were left astonished at the sheer volume of engagement that AMP Cypher had managed to generate within only ten hours of it being up.

What exactly is the AMP Freshman Cypher?
Each year, American hip-hop magazine XXL organizes a meet-up of the biggest stars in the hip-hop industry and the up-and-coming stars, where the latter get the opportunity to show off their talent alongside the best on specially curated instrumentals.
The XXL Cypher has featured many successful artists in the past, including Kendrick Lamar, Kodak Black, 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, and Denzel Curry. On the other side, AMP came up with its version of the Freshman Cypher starting in 2020. Since then, the group has come up with a new iteration every year.
The 2020 version showcased Agent 00 and LegendofWinning picking out a beat together, while the 2021 version showcased the AMP members going over posts made by netizens on X and roasting them. The 2022 version showcased the crew hilariously reciting the alphabet using gags and internet memes. On the other side, the 2023 version featured hip-hop star Lil Yachty.
