"A lot of it is my fault"—MoistCr1TiKaL responds to backlash over his comments on children undergoing HRT during his debate with Sneako

YouTuber and Twitch streamer Charlie "MoistCr1TiKaL" has finally opened up about the recent drama involving his debate with fellow streamer Nico "Sneako." For context, the two went head to head on Sneako's channel following the recent Ava Kris Tyson situation. At one point in their stream, Sneako asked if children should be allowed to take HRT:

"Do you believe that somebody can go through hormone therapy, can they change their gender if they are a child?"

MoistCr1TiKaL responded stating:

"I think that totally fine if everyone is consenting."

This response during the debate has received a lot of backlash since Sneako mockingly equated taking HRT with cutting one's reproductive organ. Hence, some people were led to believe that MoistCr1TiKaL advocated for such surgical procedures on children. Reacting to the backlash, he said:

"I gave a perspective on something, that immediately gets misconstrued and I do recognise a lot of is my fault. I assumed Sneako was talking in hyperbole about a nine-year-old getting their d*ck cut off because I didn't have the assumption that anyone thought that is how transitioning works."

MoistCr1TiKaL speaks on his stance on children receiving HRT

MoistCr1TiKaL has recently faced significant criticism following his viral debate with Rumble streamer Sneako. However, the former addressed the situation in a recent broadcast, explaining that some aspects may have been taken out of context.

"There is under no circumstances, any legality behind the kid saying, 'I wanna change gendersnand then immediately going and getting their d*ck cut off. That doesn't happen. I thought he (Sneako) was talking in hyperbole. Obviously, no one says that's good. That's not what I was saying."

He added how he failed to recognize that Sneako was being "literal" when he made such a remark.

"I thought he was talking about the overall point of a child transitioning which is a years-long process and you can't get that f**king surgery till you are 18. I didn't think that was a literal statement that he was making."

He further called out Sneako over some of his past statements:

"There's no winning on anything. Sneako gets away with saying that 12 to 15-year-olds can marry adults. I don't think his chat looks anything like the YouTube chat here."
