Kick streamer Aaron "Ac7ionMan" recently found himself in trouble with Texas law enforcement after the Lakeway police department showed up at his front door while he was IRL streaming on his Kick channel on August 22nd, 2024. The streamer was up to his regular antics, chatting with his viewers and playing around with his friends when they heard a knock on their front door.
An associate of Ac7ionMan first attended to the knock, trying to find out who was on the other side of the door:
"Who goes there? Hello, what?"
Ac7ionMan confirmed who it was after some communication, and told the police he'd step out.
"Lakeway police department? Okay, one moment."
To de-escalate the situation, Aaron walked out followed by his friends to greet the police officers, letting them know that this entire situation was a hoax.
"It's a swat, we have our hands up, it's a fake police call."
For context, a 'swat' refers to a dangerous and illegal prank where someone falsely reports a serious crime, such as a hostage situation or an armed threat, to law enforcement, causing them to dispatch a SWAT team or the police to the target's location.
This isn't the first time Ac7ionMan has been through a swat. In January 2024, the streamer was confronted by police while live on stream. A viewer tipped off his location and soon enough, he was surrounded by law enforcement. The streamer told the police about his YouTube channel and how many subscribers he had to calm the situation down.
