At the five-hour mark of the ongoing subathon (on January 1, 2025), numerous live viewers subscribed to Vedal987's channel, breaking the Hype Train record previously held by Twitch streamer Jason "Thor," popularly known as "Pirate Software."
Expressing his surprise at the situation, Vedal987 stated:
