Twitch star Cody "Clix" has claimed to have received a threat from Darla Claire's mother amid the latter's recent controversy with his friend Nick "FaZe Lacy." For those unaware, FaZe Lacy and Darla Claire went viral on July 12, 2024, when the FaZe Clan member's cameraman claimed that the streamer's girlfriend had been living with her ex-boyfriend Bryce Parker for the past four months.
Here's what FaZe Lacy's cameraman said:
"She made me lie about everything. She made me lie about the house. She made me lie that she was living in my house while she was living with Bryce. Apparently, she was on this contract with someone to use Lacy that I didn't know about. She was dating Bryce the entire time for the last four months that I did not even know about."

On the same day, Clix spoke about the situation on his livestream. At one point, he claimed to have received a text message from Darla Claire's mother. He said:
"Oh, my god! I just got a f**king text from Darla's mom saying, 'Stop trashing Darla.' Okay, okay, okay! Okay, now this is weird. Now this is f**king weird. Now this is actually weird as f**k!"

After claiming that Darla Claire's mother threatened him via text messages, Clix explained how she obtained his phone number:

The Fortnite streamer went on to say that Darla Claire's mother was "clip farming":
"Like, no way we have mothers clip farming now. Like, what the f**k did 2024 change? We have moms clip farming. Are you so dead a** with me right now? Bro, shut the f**k up, bro!"
He then read out loud another message Claire's mother supposedly sent him, which stated:
"I mean, listen, she is being a good mom. 'Do not speak about me on stream either,' says her mom. Bro..."
At the time of writing, Darla Claire had not commented on the controversy involving FaZe Lacy. What she says remains to be seen.
