Kick streamer Adin Ross finally made a return yesterday (July 23) after being away from streaming for over 60 days. For those unaware, his last stream (before his comeback) was on May 25. Since then, he has given some updates here and there regarding his absence. One of them was back in June when he said that he was due to have surgery.

During his comeback stream, however, he shockingly admitted that he had relapsed into taking lean. For those unfamiliar with lean (also known as Purple drank), it is a recreational drug prepared by mixing cold syrup with a soft drink.

Adin had earlier admitted to being addicted to this same substance (he had first revealed about his addiction in 2023). Despite claiming that he had left this practice, the streamer appears to have relapsed. Speaking to his audience, he said:

"I needed this break, bro, to really know who I am and I apologize for letting people down but I am just going to say it, bro - yeah, motherf**kers, I was sipping lean. I said it. But I am not on that sh*t anymore."

He continued about his addiction, stating:

"I know y'all knew, why y'all laughing? I know you guys knew. What do you mean, 'no way'? I look good now. I haven't been on that sh*t in months. I'm just saying."

"We are gonna get unbanned on Twitch" - Adin Ross reveals his plans post-comeback

Adin Ross' absence from streaming was certainly surprising. However, now that he is back to streaming again, he revealed that he plans to work on getting unbanned on Twitch (he was banned in February 2023). He said:

"We are gonna get unbanned on Twitch. Why? Not so that I can stop Kick. Kick, I know y'all motherf**kers needed me, I'm back....we're gonna get unbanned on Twitch because that's gonna raise a lot of roofs."

He elaborated on his plans, stating:

"This community (Kick), we gotta fix this sh*t, bro. We are toxic as f**k, we are gonna fix this sh*t, we are gonna figure this out. Because I wanna get unbanned on Twitch, but I still wanna put on Kick. Hope you guys understand."

For context, streamers who are banned on Twitch are not allowed to appear on other streams on the same platform. Adin getting unbanned means that he would be able to collaborate with some of the biggest streamers who are currently on Kick, such as Kai Cenat and FaZe members.
