Adin Ross has officially announced his decision to leave Kick. For those unaware, in November 2024, speculations surrounding Ross' association with the Stake-backed website surfaced on social media, with numerous netizens believing the streamer was leaving the platform.

On November 13, 2024, controversial content creator Nico "Sneako" claimed Adin Ross was "leaving" Kick and that he was "going to Rumble":

"Fix your contract, buddy. You unfollowed Drake. You unfollowed your CEO. You're going to Rumble and you're saying g*y s**t to me? Adin, you made me come to a dead website. Not a dead... I'm over here on Kick now and I'm getting banned every day."

On December 7, 2024, Ross took to his alternate X account, @AR15thed3mon, to announce that he was "leaving Kick indefinitely," adding that he would detail the situation in a video:

"I will be making a full video on why I am leaving Kick indefinitely, I am stepping down officially, and I will be going into detail about this, this week. I will tell you all everything."

The Florida native then claimed that he was "fully focusing" on getting his Twitch channel reinstated:

"With that being said, I am going to fully focus on being reinstated on Twitch. Thank you."

What has Kick CEO Ed Craven said about the situation where Adin Ross leaves the platform?

On November 16, 2024, Kick CEO Ed "Eddie" Craven responded to rumors about Adin Ross' departure from the platform, stating that Kick "wouldn't die" if the streamer decided to part ways:

"People kind of try new things and try out stuff. You know, I think the likes of Adin, right, if he was to leave Kick, would Kick die? No! Kick wouldn't die. Would Kick lose viewership in terms of hours watched? Of course! Would it lose community? Sure. There'd be communities left."

Fast forward to November 30, 2024, Craven commented on Ross' absence from livestreaming, saying it was "fine" if the 24-year-old "chooses to stream elsewhere":

"Adin is taking a break from streaming. You know, if he chooses to stream elsewhere, you know, I think that's fine. That's up to him. Obviously, incredibly valued member of Kick, being one of the first people to move over."

As of this writing, Ed Craven has not responded to Adin Ross' official announcement that he will be leaving Kick.
