Kick star Adin Ross recently called out Twitch streamer HasanAbi and claimed that he had to take back the Rolex he had gifted Donald Trump during their recent broadcast. For those unaware, Ross went viral earlier this week after he hosted an interview with the US presidential nominee.
During the one-and-a-half-hour stream with Trump, Ross gave the politician an expensive Presidential Rolex as a gift. At the time, internet personalities like HasanAbi protested, claiming that it was illegal for presidential nominees to accept gifts.
On his most recent stream, Adin Ross called out HasanAbi for his comments, saying he has issues:
"Hasan bro, you've really got issues, bro. I swear to god, HasanAbi, you have actual issues. You have some real issues."
Ross went on to explain that he had to take back the Rolex he gave Trump:
"Chat, I've got to just clarify. I have to take that Rolex back. There was a Presidential Rolex that I had given to President Trump and I had to take it back. I am just going to give it to Barron Trump, alright?"
"Hasan, you're right": Adin Ross says he will be giving the Rolex to Donald Trump's son Barron
After noting that he was not going to give the Rolex to Donald Trump anymore, Adin Ross said he would gift it to the Republican nominee's son, Barron, instead:
"Hasan, you're right bro, I am not giving it to President Trump anymore. We are giving it to Barron."
Readers should note that the Kick streamer did talk to Trump about his son during their viral stream, with the former US President claiming that Barron was a fan of Ross.
For those wondering why Adin Ross had to take back the Rolex and called out HasanAbi, the Twitch star had made several critical comments about the broadcast.
While watching Ross' stream, HasanAbi laughed when Trump opened the luxury watch on camera. He then claimed that it would be a crime for the politician to accept it:
"There is no f**king way! Wait, no, you can't do that, that's illegal. That's illegal, you can't do that, dumba**!"
HasanAbi further referred to the possibility that the watch costs more than the Federal Election Commission limit for campaign donations:
"That's illegal, flag on the play, that literally is not legal. You cannot give gifts to a President who is running for President."
According to the official FEC website on donation limits for the 2023-24 Federal Elections, individual contributions to nominees are to be limited to under $3,300. While Adin Ross did not announce the price of the gift, Rolex watches typically start at around $5,000.
Moreover, the watch was not the only gift that Ross had for Trump. He also presented him with a custom-wrapped Tesla Cybertruck featuring the American flag and the politician's picture from the Pennsylvania rally where he was shot.
