Adin Ross returned to Kick with much fanfare on January 6, 2025, nearly a month after announcing his departure from the platform. Upon going live on his channel, one of his first statements was about his desire to rebuild and refresh his content by reconnecting with his original style.
In recent weeks, Ross has been evolving his brand, even deleting his X Community, Adin Loyals, in a bid to "mature" and grow.
During his latest stream, Ross acknowledged his past controversial actions and expressed regret for fostering toxic behavior within his fanbase. Claiming that he wants to change for the better, he said:
"I take full-on accountability when I've raised a group of people, a toxic group of people which is influenced by toxicity myself which I've put out before. Whether it's lifestyle and just doing certain things and all this stuff, I just know what I want to do now. And what I want to do is just be the best version of myself and actually go on with it."
Ross noted that this new direction in content might alienate some of his audience but emphasized that his goal is to "rebuild everything":
"This means that a lot of you guys are not going to probably want to watch me anymore. I want to rebuild everything. I want to go back to my roots. I want to find people who find that they can watch me and it's not no forced bullsh*t where they're watching and, 'Oh, if Aiden's not doing this, I'm not watching.' I want to rebuild everything." Adin Ross claims he will stream "heartwarming" content and stay away from "toxicity"
While Adin Ross had quite a few highlights in 2024, including an interview with Donald Trump, his relationship with Kick's upper management became increasingly strained late in the year. On December 7, 2024, Ross even announced that he would be leaving the platform indefinitely.
However, following a discussion with Kick co-founder Ed Craven, Ross hinted at the possibility of streaming on the platform for specific events. On January 2, 2025, he announced his comeback stream, scheduled for the January 4-5 weekend, but later postponed it to January 6 due to unforeseen issues.
During his return broadcast, Adin Ross distanced himself from his previous controversial content, declaring his intent to focus on "heartwarming" streams that are "meaningful" as he revamps his channel:
"I want to actually completely revamp, and reset everything. I want to go back to stuff that matters to me. With that being said, every stream that I do, especially at this point until I say something else, is going to be something that is heartwarming and is something that is going to be meaningful."
He re-iterated that he would stay away from toxicity:
"And anything else, any toxicity, anything like that I'm not streaming it anymore."
Adin Ross has been trying to get Twitch to lift the indefinite ban on him, placed in February 2023. While his recent actions, including deleting X Community Adin Loyals, have been met with positivity, his account remains banned on the platform.
