Adin Ross has announced that he is no longer offering TikToker Lieutenant Dan a Kick livestreaming deal. For those unaware, the latter went viral on social media on October 10, 2024, for surviving Hurricane Milton in Florida in a boat. Adin Ross eventually reached out to him via video call and offered him a Kick livestreaming deal and a new boat worth up to $100,000.

However, on October 11, 2024, rumors were being circulated on social media that the 24-year-old streamer had walked away from the deal due to Lieutenant Dan's past. Ross eventually responded to the controversy, claiming that despite the TikToker's criminal record, he was buying him the boat.

Things have now taken a turn, as Adin announced earlier today (October 14, 2024) that he is no longer offering Lieutenant Dan a Kick livestreaming deal. Claiming that he now planned on giving the contract to Terrence, a friend of the TikToker, Ross said:

"Speaking to Terrence every day. We just talked today. I'm going to just announce it again for everyone that wants to know about the Lieutenant Dan situation. So guys, I am no longer giving Lieutenant Dan a Kick deal, but I'm giving the deal to Terrence. Terrence is going to go around Tampa, IRL streaming, and he's going to help out homeless people and help out people that are in need."

The permanently banned Twitch personality also stated that Terrence would be given a "budget every day" to "bless people" during his IRL broadcasts:

"We're going to give him a budget every day to go IRL streaming, give out, and bless people."

"We're not giving up on Lieutenant Dan" — Adin Ross gives an update on the $100,000 boat for the TikToker

After announcing that Lieutenant Dan would no longer be given a Kick livestreaming deal, Adin Ross provided an update on the $100,000 boat he intended to give the TikToker.

"We still want to help Lieutenant Dan, known as Joe, by giving him a boat. but we also want to make sure that he's staying sober and does it the right way. So, I'm giving Terrence the deal. Terrence will have the deal. Terrence will be doing IRL streams around Tampa, giving out money, and blessing people. I will be featuring in a couple of his streams."

The Florida native added:

"And again, we're not giving up on Lieutenant Dan. If he wants help, we'll help him still. But we're just going to...."

TikToker Lieutenant Dan has yet to respond to Adin Ross' decision to back out of the Kick livestreaming deal.
