Donald Trump, the 45th President of the USA and Republican nominee for the 2024 US Presidential Elections, recently spoke about popular streamer and Kick co-owner Adin Ross. Earlier, in August 2024, Ross had one of his most viral streams featuring the former President. Then, the broadcast peaked at over 500K live viewers at one point.
Today (October 24, 2024), Trump was seen in Joe Rogan's latest podcast episode (The Joe Rogan Experience). During his conversation with Rogan, the Republican candidate shared his views on Ross:
"I have a son who is very smart and tall, Barron. He knows all about you (Joe Rogan). He knows about guys I never heard of. He said, 'Dad, you don't know how big they are. They are big.' I said, 'Who the hell is he?' Like (Adin) Ross. He said, 'Dad, he's a great guy.' It's a whole new world out there."
DramaAlert (@DramaAlert) shared a clip of this moment, which garnered a lot of comments from netizens. One X.com user said:
"Adin Ross presidential shoutout before GTA 6," said @Aesthetichooper
Another seemingly trolled Trump's son for such advice:
"Is the current generation cooked?" asked @JerzyNFT
Here are a couple of other reactions:
"Adin is proof, anyone can make it big," said @BIGx2000
"Baron will be the reason why his dad gets elected," said @RightToDeclare
What was the controversy that erupted during Adin Ross and Donald Trump's stream?
Despite the viral success of Adin Ross's August 2024 stream featuring Donald Trump, the broadcast was not without controversy. Fellow streamer and political commentator Hasan "HasanAbi" raised one of the main concerns.
According to Hasan, Adin had exceeded the allowable limit that one can donate to a presidential candidate. He explained:
"Adin Ross committing a possible FEC violation by offering a presidential candidate a Rolex watch worth well over 3300$ (max cap for individual donations) right before they react together to a PowerPoint slide of friends of Trump is peak clown show."
This turned out to be true, with the streamer later admitting on a subsequent stream that he had to take back the gifts. However, he added that he ended up giving them to Donald Trump's son, Barron Trump.
