Adin Ross is reportedly facing a $10 million lawsuit from his former bodyguard, Anthony "Ant" Nails. Ant, who had previously worked closely with Ross, claims his legal action is due to issues involving unpaid wages, breach of contract, and other grievances from his time working with the streamer. In response, Ross has counter-sued, alleging misconduct by Ant and arguing against the claims.
This legal dispute has stirred significant attention online, with Ross publicly addressing the situation on social media. Now, the case seems to have progressed, with new allegations coming into the picture. YouTuber Henry Resilient broke these claims down in a video titled Adin Ross LAWSUIT Reveals He Broke the Law.
A major point in the lawsuit by Ant alleges that Adin Ross rigged an NBA 2K tournament, reportedly a month after his former bodyguard stopped working for him, on the crypto-gambling site Stake.com, where Ross has promoted betting content. Stake’s co-founder, Ed "Eddie" Craven, who also co-founded the streaming platform Kick, has a close working relationship with Adin.
As one of Kick's largest streamers and a shareholder in the platform, Adin Ross benefits from this partnership, further fueling the controversy around his role in the tournament and his connections with Stake.
Henry Resilient went through the lawsuit in his latest video, and part of the case had the following allegation:
"Specifically, ROSS placed bets on STAKE, while at the same time paying players in said tournament to purposefully throw games. ROSS subsequently admitted to this conduct in a text message to NAILS."
Leaked text messages between Adin Ross and his former bodyguard Ant used as part of alleged court documents
To support the claim, the court document included a screenshot of an Instagram DM conversation between Ant and Adin Ross. Essentially, the latter accused the former of snitching about the rigged tournaments. Ant denied these accusations in the conversation, but Adin thought otherwise, claiming that the lawyer found out via Ant.
Henry Resilient claims that Ant's lawyers are using this tactic to get the streamer to settle. This suggests that if proven correct in a court of law, this claim could cause trouble for Adin's relationship with Kick since Stake.com backs the platform:
"This gambling, rigging piece was done as leverage to get Adin to settle. Him allegedly fixing games has nothing to do with Ant's lost wages looks like Adin hasn't settled, so he goes on to bring up how this would jeopardize Aiden's deal with Kick which we know is backed by Stake."
In other news, during Donald Trump’s victory speech, UFC CEO Dana White gave a shout-out to several prominent online influencers, including Adin Ross.
