Controversial Kick streamer Adin Ross has shared his thoughts on Ironmouse after she broke Kai Cenat's Twitch record. For those unaware, Ironmouse made headlines on September 30, 2024, when she amassed over 307,000 active Twitch subscribers. This achievement saw her dethrone Cenat as the platform's all-time most-subscribed content creator.
During a livestream earlier today (October 1, 2024), Adin Ross discovered the news while browsing his Discord server. The Florida native was taken aback and appeared upset after learning of the feat.
While insisting that he "wasn't hating," the permanently banned Twitch personality claimed that a "grown man" was "roleplaying" as the VShojo-affiliated VTuber. He remarked:
"What?! What the f**k is this? I'm not even trying to be hating on this s**t. But, what the f**k am I looking at? Can somebody give me the context behind this? I saw this picture earlier. I thought it was some type of a meme. 'It's a dude.' No s**t! Guys, anybody that's roleplaying as this is a f**king grown man! Or has a b**ch working some kind of like... basement. Like, I'm not even trying to be weird."
Wondering what Ironmouse "looked like," Ross began watching her ongoing Twitch livestream and stated:
"What does she look like? Can I please see? (Adin Ross starts watching VTuber's ongoing stream) Okay, so let me ask you guys a question, bro. Before I really talk my opinion on this, is there something wrong with the person behind this s**t? I'm not trying to be weird, on god. But you've got to give me the context."
"This is my first time I'm hearing about this person" - Adin Ross questions how Ironmouse surpassed Kai Cenat's Twitch subscriber record while commenting on her recent achievement
After watching Ironmouse's Twitch stream for a while, Adin Ross gave her a shoutout, claiming that the VTuber was "doing the Marshmello (DJ and music producer) method." He once again claimed that he wasn't "hating" on the content creator's achievement and questioned how she broke Kai Cenat's Twitch subscriber record:
"How did she surpass Kai in this s**t? Listen to what I'm really about to say! Don't say, 'GG,' and 'Pre-canceled.' No, no! How is this possible? Because I'll be real with you guys, because Kai was doing the subathon, he was [unintelligible]. He had the most subs for a reason! I saw him everywhere on the internet. This is my first time I'm hearing about this person."
When Ross learned that Ironmouse was organizing a charitable event through her subathon, the 23-year-old stated:
"'It's for charity.' That's different. That is different. W then! What charity is it going to? I pray that you get a million subscribers because that's awesome! You're doing god's work here... Iron. Good for you. Genuinely, I'm not even joking."
Kai Cenat himself has congratulated Ironmouse for breaking his concurrent Twitch subscriber record.
