Felix "xQc" is one of the most prominent streamers in the Slots & Casino section of the streaming platform Kick. Gambling on the online casino Stake.com has taken up about 54% of the streamer's content throughout August 2024. Felix started his journey with slots in 2021 on Twitch, with relatively small amounts like $40 per spin. By November 2023, he had gambled over $2.7 billion on Stake.
These are staggering numbers, but xQc's stance on gambling hasn't always been the same. A clip from the streamer's 2020 era has resurfaced, and viewers have pointed out the hypocrisy on X.
"I will not take moral advice from someone who promotes gambling to children, okay. I will not take moral advice from somebody who promotes gambling, full-time, to children, without putting an 18+ tag on his stream, I'm sorry, I won't do that.".
X user @iqkev looked at the video from today's setting and said:
"Aged like milk."
Others like @Odst1248 questioned what xQc's response would be to this:
"Wow, I wonder what he has to say about this one."
@Anik_Alam9 called Felix out on more hypocrisy they felt he was guilty of.
"Bro had same takes about watches, cars and designer brands. Hypocrisy is something [xQc] excels at all the time."
Some, like @Danny_AlxnderOC, spoke about money and the streamer's changed behavior:
"Money changes everyone."
"This guy's a f**ker" - Who was xQc criticizing about promoting gambling to children?
The person xQc is criticizing in the video above is EasyWithAces, whose real name is Fintan Hand. He's a popular Twitch streamer with over 133,000 followers and a professional poker player from Dublin, Ireland.
In the clip above, Felix called out Fintan for promoting gambling to children:
"This guy's a f**ker, I don't like what he said".
In 2020, xQc played against EasyWithAces in a Twitch Pogchamps chess tournament. Felix ultimately lost the challenge, and the event led to some drama between the two. Although the clips regarding the situation have been deleted from Twitch, Redditor Btx452 summed up the situation on an old r/LiveStreamFail post discussing the beef between the two:
"Oversleeping and missing a game where the opponent, casters, etc [have] been prepping and making time in their schedule and stuff is a pretty d*ck move - some chat members got pretty mad at EasyWithAces for saying that."
Based on the comment above, Fintan allegedly called out the streamer for oversleeping and missing their chess game during the Pogchamps event. This subsequently prompted the response from Felix where he called out the poker professional for endorsing gambling to an underage audience.
