"Always knew what Alex was like": Kavos addresses ImAllexx fans accusing him of "profiting" off abuse controversy

Popular British YouTuber Pierce "Kavos" has uploaded a video on X, directly addressing the "ImAllexx stans" accusing him of "profiting" from the recent abuse allegations made against Alex by his former partners, Alice Hez and fellow YouTuber Ani "Kingani". As per Kavos, these fans are trying to indulge in "grandstanding" and accusing him of benefitting from the controversy by talking about it and making videos on the matter.

Defending his actions, Kavos stated that he had known Alex for "nine years" and was always aware and outspoken about Alex's behavior. Further, he accused Alex of "ruining" the life of his manager and Slazo through false accusations:

"I just wanna make this video quick because it's making me laugh seeing ImAllexx former stans, I can tell just from their profiles. They're tweeting me now, because now I've- everything I've said about Alex has come to fruition, right?... Even if this didn't come out, I knew about Alex all along. "

"Me and a select few people in the commentary community always knew what Alex was like. It wasn't a secret, but you stans are now grandstanding me."

Further, he stated that he felt empathetic towards Alice Hez, who was the first one to open up about her allegedly abusive relationship with Alex:

"I've known Alex for nine years, I've known Alex for ages and I've always said he was a complete piece of sh**... Of course I have empathy for Alice, any abuse, reading that Google Doc pi**ed me off. Like, it's horrible. But it doesn't mean I can't also talk about past actions with ImAllexx. Things that I experienced him doing to me. Lying, manipulating, things that he did to other people trying to ruin their lives, it's all relevant."

KavosYT reacts to allegations made against ImAllexx amid recent controversy

Kavos has been known to historically have a negative stance towards ImAllexx, criticizing his behavior many years prior. For instance, he criticized the role Alex played in the false allegations levied towards Slazo in the Happy Hour Podcast in October 2020. With allegations of abuse and physical assault against Alex coming to light, Kavos has taken the opportunity to share his thoughts about the matter.

Amid a series of posts on X about the matter, Kavos uploaded a video on the platform captioned "ImAllexx career is officially finished," and stated that he is working on a video on the entire controversy. Stating that Alex was "going to get what he deserves," Kavos stated:

"Look, don't say I didn't try and warn you about Alex, he's always been a piece of sh**. Now, we're going to see it first hand from someone who's interacting with him and been in a relationship with him behind the scenes. God knows I'll be making a video on this, it's going to take a little bit because there's a sh*t ton to talk about but, don't count me surprised. That guy's always been a little b**ch... For once, he's going to get what he f**king deserves."

Other YouTubers and former associates of ImAllexx, such as William "WillNE" and George "Memeulous", have come forth with statements since the allegations were made against Alex. They distanced themselves from Alex and expressed their support for Alice. Both also alluded to having heard ambiguous details about Alex's contentious past behavior, causing them to not keep in contact with him.
