Twitch star Kai Cenat has announced that he will give away a whopping $100,000 on his upcoming stream on September 4, 2025, slated to start at 8 pm EST. He made the announcement on X a couple of hours before going live, and fans are naturally excited to take part in the giveaway.

Considering how popular Cenat has become, the announcement went viral almost instantly and even caught the eyes of popular rapper DDG, who asked if he was also eligible to win in the giveaway:

"Am i able to win too?", asked rapper DDG.

While a majority of the comments under Cenat’s post were positive, with viewers claiming that they would tune in to the broadcast for the $100K giveaway, some noted that they had not received any money from the previous event during the 4th of July.

Regardless, here are some of the general reactions to Kai Cenat's latest announcement:

"GIVING AWAY $100,000 IS CRAZY," noted X user @suayrez.
"On my way. I'm a brokie right now," claimed @GraceKing1167.
"what bout the stream from July? i’ve gotten nothing," asked @JustDev_07.
"Can I get my 10k from the 4th first?," wrote @DevanteHil96825.

A brief look at the time when Kai Cenat's giveaway caused the 2023 Union Square Riots

Kai Cenat is one of the most popular streamers on Twitch right now. He was recently named the most influential social media influencer/content creator of 2024 by Rolling Stone magazine.

Cenat is not only known on YouTube and Twitch but has become a household name in America due to his burgeoning popularity and collaborations with artists and athletes.

During the 2024 Paris Olympics, Nike set up the Twitch star to travel to France to watch the men's basketball finals. The streamer had interacted with the US men's team before, talking to LeBron James on multiple occasions.

During his career, Cenat has done a lot of giveaways. However, one of his IRL giveaways from last year went viral for all the wrong reasons. Back in August 2023, the content creator and his fellow org members of the AMP group held an impromptu PlayStation giveaway in New York City.

Both Cenat and the authorities vastly underestimated the response the event would get as thousands took to the streets on that day, causing the now infamous Union Square Riots. At the time, police officials said Cenat would even get charged with inciting the riot. Readers should note that the Manhattan DA's office refused to prosecute the Twitch streamer, according to reports from May 2024.

Kai Cenat has also done a lot of charity work. Earlier this year, he revealed that he was collaborating with NGOs to build a school for underprivileged children in Nigeria.
