Tyler Blevins, aka Ninja, has reacted after Kai Cenat broke his highest peak viewership on Twitch with a recent broadcast featuring Kevin Hart and Druski, which reached over 700,000 viewers and peaked at about 720K. This is well above the Fortnite star's record of 631K, which he achieved back in 2018 during a livestream with Drake.
A viewer brought up Cenat's feat during Ninja's most recent broadcast. The content creator promptly claimed that while he has a high number on the leaderboards, the all-time Twitch record (held by Spanish streamer Ibai) is 3.3 million:
"Kai beat your most-viewer record last night? The most-viewer record on Twitch is 3.34 million. Should I make that my title, bro? Am I supposed to be offended, guys? Just put it in sub-mode now."
"It's a matter of time": Ninja praises Kai Cenat on his recent viewership record
Since joining Twitch in 2021, Kai Cenat has been making waves in the live-streaming industry. From his wildly successful subathons to high-profile celebrity features, the New York native has consistently attracted a lot of attention. His latest feat is hosting Hollywood actor and comedian Kevin Hart in a sleepover stream with Druski.
Considering how much praise Kevin Hart's first stream with Kai Cenat received, the June 10 broadcast naturally drew a very large crowd, helping the content creator break a lot of viewership records. Not only did he manage to beat Ninja's personal record, but, according to the official Twitch page on X, Cenat is now the North American streamer with the most viewers.
Ninja praised Kai Cenat for the feat and called him one of the biggest streamers in the industry at the moment:
"It's a matter of time. Kai is probably the biggest streamer in the world right now, American at least."
He also noted how Kai Cenat had FaceTimed with LeBron James, who called Kevin Hart during the stream:
"FaceTiming LeBron James, dude? Druski, Kevin Hart are there in person, bro. Respect! So much f*cking star power there."
As noted by the Fortnite star, both he and Kai Cenat have a long way to go before they can beat Ibai's record of 3.3 million, which the Spanish streamer achieved back in July 2023 during his La Velada Del Ano boxing event.
