Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan are under house arrest in Romania as part of an ongoing investigation into serious allegations, including human trafficking and sexual offenses involving minors. Andrew, who denounced all the allegations, has been to court once at the Bucharest tribunal, where the brothers were ordered to stay under house arrest for thirty days.
Most recently, Romanian authorities seized several luxury vehicles from Andrew Tate's residence near Bucharest. The Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT), seized the cars two days after conducting raids that led to the arrest of six individuals, including the Tate brothers.
Andrew Tate is known for his extravagant lifestyle, which includes a collection of luxury cars. He owns high-end vehicles such as Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Rolls-Royces.
Romanian prosecutors allege that the brothers, along with other accomplices, exploited vulnerable women through coercive means. Meanwhile, the Tate brothers and their legal team have contested the car seizures, stating that although the procedure is legal, it is "unfounded".
Authorities also seized cash totaling thousands of dollars, along with laptops and data storage devices from the residence.
A brief breakdown of the charges leveled against Andrew Tate
The Romanian police have been trailing Andrew Tate since April 2022, who has found himself in troubled waters once again in 2024. On August 21, 2024, the Tates faced another raid by Romanian authorities. This latest operation was triggered by fresh accusations related to minors.
Reports indicate that the investigation is centered around allegations that the Tates may have been involved in the exploitation of underage girls, potentially connected to their webcam business or other illegal activities.
Andrew, who has a series of allegations against him, has consistently denied any wrongdoing:
"I've been patient, I've played the game, I've respected the judiciary, I've gone to every appointment on time, but they bust in my house again! And now have come along saying there's 'thirty-five' victims. You know, all thirty of those girls have statements in our defense, thirty saying we've done absolutely nothing wrong."
The clip above shows Andrew, furious, right after he stepped out of the tribunal and the order for his house arrest was passed. In the clip, he says there is no evidence to suggest that he has committed any crime.
