Asmongold calls out Pyromancer after the latter insinuates that he does not treat women with respect

Twitch streamer Zack "Asmongold" has called out YouTuber Pyromancer for his recent tweet. For context, on September 15, 2024, Pyromancer stated that a "major content creator" had sent his community after a woman, who spoke out about equity and representation in the World of Warcraft sphere. While pleading with the online community to respect women, the MMORPG YouTuber wrote:

"In the WoW space this week, we had a major content creator sending his community after a woman who dared to speak up for equity and representation. In the FFXIV space, we've seen several women speak out against mistreatment in the competitive space. Please treat women with respect, be it online, in games, in real life, or literally anywhere. They are, believe it or not, human beings. This is genuinely bare minimum s**t, boys. The bar is in Hell."

In a subsequent tweet, Pyromancer admitted that he was talking about Asmongold when netizens urged him to name the content creator he was referring to:

"I'm keeping specific names out of my mouth but I'll at least do you the courtesy of letting you know you're not following them. I regret to disappoint if the expectation was for there to be a surprise, but I'm referring to Asmongold."

During a livestream on the same day, Asmongold responded to Pyromancer by calling him the "king of crashing out." He then gave context for the situation, claiming that he called out an "obnoxious Karen" who wanted to "push women and LGBT representation" in World of Warcraft's race to world first events:

"Pyromancer, the king of crashing out, has decided to subtweet about me because I had the audacity to say that somebody was being obnoxious and a Karen when they're trying to push for women and LGBT representation inside of the race to world first. These people are parasites, they are annoying, and I called them out for that."

Asmongold says YouTuber Pyromancer has "destroyed" his reputation by having "half a dozen mental breakdowns"

Asmongold was one hour 43 minutes into his recent livestream when he called out Pyromancer for insinuating that he does not respect women. In response to the YouTuber's tweet, the Texan stated that he "destroyed" his reputation by having "half a dozen mental breakdowns."

He elaborated:

"Dude, this is the most obnoxious f**king thing to see! Yeah, this tweet isn't going to get you laid. Sorry to tell you. This guy has destroyed his reputation by having, like, half a dozen mental breakdowns on stream. Cannot control his anger. Getting mad f**king constantly. Alienated multiple communities of people."

The One True King (OTK) co-founder then responded to Pyromancer's statement that he was criticizing and disagreeing with a content creator because of their gender, remarking:

"And then he's saying that me criticizing and disagreeing with a person doing something is because they're a f**king woman. You think that's because they're a woman? Why the f**k would it be because they're a woman?! I don't care! Nobody cares! That's not the point!"
