Twitch streamer Zack "Asmongold" has provided yet another update on his efforts to clean up his household, this time sharing before and after pictures of his living room. This comes after the streamer had vowed to make a change in his living conditions following his ban from Twitch for making controversial remarks regarding the ongoing conflict in Palestine.
Asmongold shared the update in an X post on October 22, 2024. Alongside the progress photos, he also shared that he would be donating certain belongings that he had gathered as part of the cleaning process to charity:
"Let there be light (All remaining boxes have been designated to go to charity)"

Asmongold decided to clean his household after receiving a temporary Twitch ban. The punitive action was taken against his alternate account, zackrawrr, which also prohibits him from streaming on his main channel as per Twitch's policy to prevent ban evasion.
The streamer had commented upon the ongoing conflict in Palestine, claiming that he was "not going to cry a f**king river" over individuals in the region getting "genocided". Giving reasoning for his sentiments, he claimed that these individuals had genocide "baked into their laws".
Needless to say, these comments invited much rebuke from netizens across social media platforms. Furthermore, streamers such as Kaceytron called the ban a "light penalization", but still welcomed Twitch's decision against Asmongold.
Asmongold has previously shared a before and after picture of his kitchen sink following his cleaning efforts. Thus, fans can potentially expect further such updates from Asmongold, as he had stated that he would clean the house without hiring a cleaner as "penance" for his remarks.
Notably, Asmongold has also stepped away from his leadership positions in various organizations following the controversy, including One True King (OTK) and Starforge Systems.
