Twitch streamer Zack "Asmongold" has commented on Hersche "Guy," aka "Dr DisRespect's" return to the internet following his recent controversy. In June 2024, Dr DisRespect admitted to texting a minor using Twitch Whispers, claiming the conversations "sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate."
After more than a month's break, Dr DisRespect took to X on July 31, 2024, and posted a picture of himself playing chess. Eventually, thousands of netizens commented on the post, with some X users bringing up the scandal.
The Doc, on the other hand, had a few replies for those commenting:

During a livestream on the same day (July 31, 2024), Asmongold discussed the 42-year-old's X post and his interactions with netizens. At one point, the streamer noticed a Twitch user claiming that Dr DisRespect was "trying to ignore" comments about the controversy.
Asmongold replied by claiming that the Two-Time Champ responded "directly" with "jokes and insults":
"'He's trying to ignore it and it'll go away.' No, he's not! He is directly responding to accusations about him talking to minors with jokes and insults. This is a strategy I haven't seen used before. I haven't seen anyone use this before! I want to see how it plays out. Oh, my god!"
Asmongold claims Dr DisRespect has "nothing left to lose" while reacting to the latter's recent X post
At the two-hour-38-minute mark of the broadcast, Asmongold was taken aback after reading the responses to Dr DisRespect's recent post on X. Claiming that the YouTube streamer had "nothing left to lose," the co-founder of One True King (OTK) remarked:
"I don't even know where things are going to go from here! I really don't understand... because he doesn't have any brand deals anymore. He doesn't have, like... he's got nothing left to lose... I guess."
