Asmongold responds to HasanAbi's allegations about fostering Nazi-friendly Twitch streams, jokes that Elon Musk already stopped watching him

Twitch streamer Zack "Asmongold" had a sarcastic reply to HasanAbi's allegations that Zack had opened up his streaming community to the Nazis. During his broadcast on January 24, 2025, Asmongold joked about winning against HasanAbi in the Nazi-friendly stream aspect because Elon Musk had already stopped watching him.

Asmongold and Elon Musk recently had a public feud online after the Twitch streamer joined others like Quin69 to accuse the billionaire of account boosting in Path of Exile 2. This ended with Elon supposedly soft-blocking the content creator after leaking his DMs.

On January 23, 2025, HasanAbi called out Asmongold and accused him of creating a Nazi-friendly environment with his edgy jokes. In the broadcast, he had then said:

"At this point, you have opened up your environment to Nazis. Like, you are giving them a space to occupy and operate. It doesn't matter. Like, your intention at that point doesn't matter at all. Okay? Like, it very quickly moves from, 'Haha, we're just being edgy here,' to like, 'Holy sh*t!'"

A viewer asked Asmongold to comment on HasanAbi's remarks and he replied stating:

"'Thoughts on Hasan calling your community Nazis?' I did see that. I mean, the thing is that I found it to be kind of odd that Hasan would say that considering that, recently at least, I am pretty sure the score is one to zero."

The OTK streamer further explained his joke, referring to Elon Musk's alleged Nazi salute controversy, and claimed at least the Tesla CEO had stopped watching him, insinuating that HasanAbi's remarks were incorrect:

"Because we all know, according to Twitter at least and Reddit, we know one Nazi that was watching my stream and then stopped watching it. He was unhappy with the way I covered something. And so I feel like we are one to zero. I don't know any Nazis that have stopped watching Hasan. So I don't know what he is talking about."

"You are always going to have people that are extreme": Asmongold reacts to HasanAbi's Nazi remarks

HasanAbi's recent Nazi remarks come days after he had called out Asmongold for his Holocaust remark. With the beef continuing, Asmongold went on to make the argument that there would always be extremists in every content creator's community. That said, he explained he was not worried about HasanAbi's allegations:

"It's a very good sign [Elon Musk not watching his streams], I don't get it. But, um, I don't take any of that [HasanAbi's comments] seriously. The fact is that you are always going to have people that are extreme or crazy in any community. It's not really that big of a deal with me. And anybody that looks at my content will have that conclusion."

Asmongold noted that HasanAbi was probably farming for content. He further believed that the latter's community could also have extremists with him being a political commentator:

"'He is just farming.' Yeah, I think so. And I get where he is coming from. I see it, and I am sure there are going to be people — the problem is that whenever you cover any political topic — I'm sure that Hasan has people that are terrorist sympathizers in his chat and in his community too."

Asmongold also mentioned that the existence of "terrorist sympathizers" was not "necessarily" HasanAbi's fault:

"Of course, you are going to have people like that in your community whenever you cover really divisive geopolitical events. That's just what's going to happen and it's not necessarily his fault. It doesn't mean that he did that himself."
