Twitch streamer Asmongold has weighed in on the accusations of sexual abuse against John "Tectone", claiming that if what his ex-girlfriend Pinkchyu alleges is true, Tectone should get jail time. The OTK-co founder made the comments on his alternate Twitch channel zackrawrr hours after John announced he was leaving the organization after being a part of One True King for three years.
Asmongold acknowledged that the allegations leveled by Pinkchyu were quite serious and added that he would not say much about the situation. That said, he did say that if the accusations were true, Tectone should face jail time:
"Tectone, he is probably trying to work through and figure what he is going to do moving forward. I don't really want to make a lot of comments about the whole situation with him and Pink. Because obviously, it's a very serious legal conversation that, if the accusations are true, should follow jail time, let's be honest."

Asmongold also said that since Tectone denied the allegations, waiting out to see what really happens is the only solution:
"He says they are not true. She says they are. We will see what happens. And so yeah, it's really just that simple."
Asmongold talks about the future of the Steak and Eggs podcast now that Tectone has left OTK amid allegations of abuse
On November 24, 2024, Tectone went live on Twitch and informed his audience that about his resignation from OTK. He explained how he had chosen to not renew the contract he signed after joining the organization in November 2021. He further claimed that being part of OTK was a weakness because he did not want people affiliated with him to get in trouble for his "dumb" actions.
On the other hand, he has also threatened legal action against Pinkchyu. While, he had publicly asked her to apologize within two weeks, on his recent stream, he gave Pinkcyu a 24-hour ultimatum (November 25) to retract her statement. If not, Tectone said he would take legal action.
Tectone is one of the co-hosts of the Steak and Eggs podcast with Asmongold and Emiru, and his exit from OTK has naturally raised questions about whether he will continue on the program.
After talking about the case on his alternate Twitch stream, Asmongold commented on the future of Steak and Eggs as well. Asmongold stated that he was unsure whether Tectone would return to the Steak and Eggs podcast and joked that if he didn't, Emiru would be able to talk more:
"I am not sure what we are going to do with the podcast. I don't know what the future of the podcast is really going to be. Anyway that's really it. If we continue and we do it without Tectone, maybe we can have Emy [Emiru] talk for more than two minutes. Maybe it will be three minutes then. Yeah, that's basically it."
Other OTK streamers have yet to publicly talk about the allegations against their former member. In related news, Asmongold himself has taken a step back from his leadership roles in the organization since the controversy surrounding his comment about Palestinians last month.
