Twitch star Zack "Asmongold" has commented on Herschel "Guy," better known as Dr DisRespect, and his decision to delete a tweet in which he confirmed to have messaged a minor via Twitch Whispers. During a livestream on August 14, 2024, Asmongold scrolled through Dr DisRespect's official X handle, explaining to his audience what the YouTuber might do for his potential streaming comeback.
Speculating that the 42-year-old would make an "apex predator move," Asmongold said that The Doc would pretend to be "kidding" about messaging a minor and claim that "everybody took the bait." He elaborated:
"Here is what I think Doc is going to try to do. And this is going to be, and I really mean it this, apex predator move. What I think he is going to do is he's going to act like he was only kidding and that's actually not what's happened, and everybody took the bait for it when they shouldn't have."

Asmongold explained why he believed Dr DisRespect would say he "baited everyone" with the Twitch ban tweet. The co-founder of One True King (OTK) displayed The Doc's updated X banner, which featured a Dr DisRespect-themed fishing bobber, with his now-deleted tweet attached to it.
Asmongold said:
"The reason why I think that is because he changed his title to look like this. Or sorry, his post here to look like this. So, I think that's exactly what he's doing. That's exactly what he's trying to do. 'I was hacked. I didn't actually mean that. I just said that to see how many mainstream media actually go along with it. Of course, I would never do this.' I think that's what he's going to try to do, guys."

A few moments later, the Texan's attention was drawn to a viewer who suggested that the "Two-Time Champ" should receive some public relations training because his now-deleted tweet was "so bad."
In response, Asmongold remarked:
"'He needs PR training, he is so stupid, the apology was so bad.' I hope that he doesn't get PR training, because if he does, I will get less content out of it."
