A couple got engaged on the set of Beast Games during the filming of the Prime Video show's first episode as reported by WHSV. Steven England, who happened to be contestant #177, proposed to his girlfriend contestant #521 — the former Miss Virginia Tiffany Weaver — after he got eliminated in the very first challenge of the game show.

Hosted by the popular YouTuber Jimmy "MrBeast," the official Beast Games started with 1,000 contestants on Prime Video. The first episode aired on December 19, 2024, and even before announcing the first major challenge, MrBeast offered contestants a giveaway pool of $1,000,000 to cash out.

A total of 52 contestants chose this option, with Steven England being one of them. According to the local news report, he had been dating Tiffany Weaver for less than a year before the couple applied for a chance to participate in the Beast Games. Reportedly, Steven was looking for a quick exit from the game show due to his job and took the cash prize on the first episode.

WHVS reports Steven England recalling how he approached MrBeast after he got eliminated at the start of Episode 1 of Beast Games. The contestant told the news outlet that he pulled the popular YouTuber aside and asked if he could propose to Tiffany Weaver.

MrBeast reportedly asked him if he was sure, to which Steven recalls replying:

"What better opportunity would I have?"

After getting MrBeast's assent, England walked down the rows of remaining players and got down on his knees to propose to Tiffany Weaver. Looking back at the moment, the former Miss Virginia praised her fiance's courage to proclaim his love for her in front of so many people.

Tiffany Weaver described it as follows:

"Honestly, I don’t think it could have gotten any bigger than that. It was so special and unique. Who else can say they got engaged to on ‘Beast Games’?"
