Beast Games Episode 3 was released on December 26, 2024, and MrBeast's Prime Video show started quite tense after the cliffhanger from the previous episode. For context, Episode 2 ended abruptly in the middle of a challenge where four team captains were offered massive amounts of money as bribes to eliminate their respective teams.

MrBeast has been hyping up the third episode ever since the premiere of the first two chapters of his ten-part series dropped earlier this month. The YouTuber-turned-game show host even claimed that Beast Games Episode 3 would be ten times better than Episode 2.

With Squid Game Season 2 also arriving on the same day, MrBeast announced a $100K giveaway on X for the release of Beast Games Episode 3. This article will go through all the challenges in the episode and, therefore, feature mild spoilers for the show.

Beast Games Episode 3: Rules and challenges

As mentioned, the Prime Video show's third episode started in the middle of the captain's bribery challenge which has been discussed in our breakdown of the first two episodes. The first new challenge in Beast Games Episode 3 was quite light-hearted, if not a little bit sinister. Read on to find more.

Challenge 1

The first new challenge of the episode was on paper a simple sack race. MrBeast and his group of co-hosts painted it as a fun challenge for friends to team up in groups of threes as there would be no elimination. The winning team, however, would be given a VIP house in Beast City with an additional secret prize.

Challenge 2

The second challenge in Beast Games Episode 3 was the main event. Groups of three were confined to a small cube room in an arena for five hours. Each cube contained a handcuff with one side cuffed to the wall, and a telephone with the label "ask for anything."

The group of three friends from the first challenge progressed to the cube challenge, with the rules stipulating that each team would have to eliminate one of their members by cuffing them to the wall before five hours ran out. Failure to do so would eliminate all three players in the group.

Challenge 3

The third challenge was quite short and featured a golden present that was brought out by the crew. The first contestant to touch the box wins six golden tickets to the $1.8 million tropical island, which is up for grabs as one of the rewards.

Challenge 4

Episode 3 ended after MrBeast announced he had hidden a secret golden ticket to a tropical island in Beast City, which contestants would have to find to proceed.
