A clip of Twitch streamer Duke Dennis asking his fans to help him buy a pair of sneakers worth $64,000 has gone viral. On October 23, 2024, a 52-second video surfaced on X, in which the content creator expressed his admiration for the Nike SB Dunk Low Freddy Krueger. However, he claimed he couldn't spend such an excessive amount of money on shoes.
Duke Dennis then stated that the "only way" he could get the sneakers was if someone "gave" them to him.
X user @geekbaraddict posted the streamer's clip on the Elon Musk-owned social media platform, writing:
"Duke Dennis is asking his fans to buy him the $64k Freddy Krueger dunks."
With numerous netizens chiming in on the situation, X user @scubaryan_ commented on the AMP-affiliated personality, saying:

The video posted on X began with Duke Dennis expressing his reluctance to spend $64,000 on sneakers that were his "favorite shoes of all time". The Twitch streamer commented on the exclusivity of the Nike SB Dunk Low Freddy Krueger shoes, saying:
"Hey, so look - it don't matter how much I want these shoes, it don't matter how much I like these Freddy Krueger Dunks, I just couldn't never see myself paying $64,000, $65,000 for a pair of shoes. Despite claiming that he would not spend so much money on shoes, Duke Dennis stated that the "only way" he could get the Nike Dunks was if someone gave them to him:
