YouTuber Patrick Thomas "Pat," better known as "PopularMMOs" has defended Jimmy "MrBeast" amid recent allegations leveled against the latter and his upcoming Amazon Prime game show - Beast Games. MrBeast was embroiled in controversy after a former crew member (DogPack404 on YouTube) accused him and his company of "rigging videos," running "illegal lotteries," and selling "fake signatures" in a video titled "I Worked for MrBeast, He's a Fraud."

Eventually, concerning reports about the conditions participants allegedly faced at Beast Games surfaced, with YouTuber Rosanna Pansino claiming that contestants suffered "appalling injuries" during filming.

In a YouTube Community post on August 7, 2024, PopularMMOs claimed that "everyone" was being "psychologically influenced" by commentary YouTubers. He then defended MrBeast, claiming that the latter had done "100x more helping" than he could ever have.

Commenting on the allegations that the Kansas native allegedly ran an "illegal lottery," PopularMMOs wrote:

"I hate ranting but my entire feed is MrBeast drama. Do I have to be the only (one) to say everyone is being influenced psychologically by commentary YouTubers? Just because people say something, you don't have to believe it. I'm not making a video because I don't want money. This man did 100x more helping anyone than I ever could. So people are mad about an illegal lottery? Dude's giving people money instead of not. It's a silly law and he probably didn't even know it. Influenced some videos for more entertainment, big deal."

The former Minecraft content creator went on to say that Amazon should be "blamed" for the alleged situation involving the participants during the filming of Beast Games:

"And his Amazon Prime show, it's run by a team, not him. They messed up not him. Blame Amazon if anything. They definitely have more control than you think. It's driving me nuts cause I've had plenty of drama about me."

PopularMMOs added:

"But he's helping the world more than I ever have. His friend is gross but that has nothing to with him."

MrBeast was recently called out by netizens for "terribly running" Beast Games and being "manipulative"

A few days ago, a post on the r/YouTubeDrama subreddit went viral, in which Redditor u/Rawr_NuzzlesYou called MrBeast out for "lying" about the Ava Kris Tyson controversy. The user accused MrBeast of taking down the website that hosted Ava Kris Tyson's old Discord messages and also alleged that the YouTuber sent a cease and desist notice to DogPack404 over his video.

The Redditor also accused the 26-year-old of "terribly running" Beast Games, adding that he was being "manipulative" about the debacle.
