FaZe Clan member Max "Plaqueboymax" recently cut off his dreadlocks during a broadcast, in what he claimed was an effort to improve his hairline. Plaqueboymax is known for having maintained his hairstyle for a significant period of time. During his broadcast, the streamer also noted this and revealed that he had been maintaining his dreads throughout the time he had known his current barber.
After cutting off his dreads, Plaqueboymax momentarily held up the dreadlocks for his audience. Afterward, he received a taper fade from his barber.
A clip of Plaqueboymax getting his haircut has received mixed reactions from his viewers, with some stating that the streamer may have made a mistake:
"Bro lost all his aura," wrote X user @suayrez
"Bruh, he just sacrificed his whole drip for that," wrote X user @cryptonian_0
"Smile through the pain bro," wrote X user @gekoft
Meanwhile, some were skeptical about the benefits of a haircut in restoring Plaqueboymax's hairline:
"How do you fix your hairline? Isn’t it over for you?" wrote X user @majintrent
"His hairline is already past saving…," wrote X @RoyalMaj3sty
In contrast, many X users were supportive of Plaqueboymax's new haircut, and even praised his new look:
"Hold on this new look kinda hitting," wrote X user @degencinema
"He looks much younger now," wrote X user @AdiV20230519
What was FaZe YourRage's reaction to Plaqueboymax's new haircut?

After cutting off his dreadlocks and receiving a taper fade, Plaqueboymax decided to call his fellow streamers and FaZe Clan members to see their reaction. Among the content creators he video-called was FaZe Joshua "YourRage". After revealing his new appearance to YourRage, Plaqueboymax asked him for his honest opinion.
YourRage candidly replied:
"Listen, you're not ugly. You're dead not ugly... But, you got like that, default light skin n***a. Like, you don't look unique no more!"
In other news, FaZe YourRage, who is a Kick streamer, recently clapped back at AMP Roberto "Fanum" after the latter claimed streamers on the Stake-backed platform did not "elevate" their content despite being paid large sums of money at the time of their signing.
