Popular Twitch streamer Tyler1, also known as T1, has sparked a range of reactions from the community after he revealed his Elden Ring setup on stream. Viewers quickly started drawing comparisons to Kai Cenat, who earlier this year held two marathon streams: one for the base game and another for the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

Cenat's streams were notable for their elaborate cosplay and the transformation of his streaming space into fantasy dungeons that echoed the game's atmosphere. So, when Tyler1 debuted his Elden Ring-themed setup with similar props and costumes, it was only natural that comparisons would arise.

Clips from Tyler1's stream where he showcased his Elden Ring-inspired get-up went viral on September 9 with the streaming community giving mixed reactions. The conversation inevitably turned to Kai Cenat's prior marathons with some insinuating that Tyler1 had copied Kai while others pointed out how much of an influence Kai has had on the industry. Here are some of the reactions from X.

On September 9, 2024, clips from Tyler1's stream featuring his Elden Ring-inspired look went viral, prompting a mix of responses. Some suggested that Tyler1 had taken inspiration from Cenat. Others highlighted the significant influence Cenat has had on the streaming industry.

"Bro is NOT Kai," commented X user @divinecoup.
"T1 been doing stuff like this for a long time Kai didn’t start shit," @Renamedtwice came to Tyler's defense.

"everyone gonna hate but i think its cool to see other steamers getting influenced to put more effort into their content," mused @iqkev.

Watch: Tyler1 showcases cosplay and streaming setup for Elden Ring stream

On September 9, 2024, Tyler1, who is primarily known for his League of Legends broadcasts, revealed his setup for his Elden Ring stream. The Twitch star's usual darkly lit room was in full view of the camera and was filled with Rome-inspired artifacts, complete with white columns and a couple of crosses.

Tyler1 himself donned a hoplite-like helmet and shield. He also had a full plate of armor and was swinging a sword around while setting his grand entrance to the background of some music.

While the cosplay was not exactly Elden Ring-esque, the comparisons do hold some merit, considering Kai Cenat also transformed his room when he did the marathons and had a cosplay inspired by the game during his entrances.
