"Bro wanted a timeout": Fans react after IShowSpeed goes on a water slide in Romania

YouTube streamer Darren "IShowSpeed" recently went on an exhilarating water slide during his IRL stream in Balotești, Romania on July 11, 2024. The streamer recorded himself going down the slide, which was located in the Therme Bucharest, a wellness center. Before trying out the slide, Speed could be seen taking his shirt off and changing into swimming trunks.

Standing near the starting point, IShowSpeed had accumulated several fans around him, who were being held back by Speed's security detail. Hyping himself up before the obstacle ahead of him, he shouted:

"Alright! Let's go!"

Even though he was apprehensive, to begin with, the slide's turns seemed to overwhelm the creator as he said:

"Wait! Wait, wait, wait, wait, time out! Time out! Time out! Get me out of Romania!"

Waiting at the bottom was a crowd of fans cheering him on for making it down the slide. He exclaimed:

"I did it! F**k, the water got in my nose."

A clip showcasing Speed's hilarious experience on the slide has netizens in splits on X. Since being uploaded, it has been watched over 2.3 million times. One netizen remarked on the creator's desire to have a "time-out" midway through the slide, stating:

"Bro wanted a timeout halfway through the slide."

Netizens also talked about IShowSpeed's fans, who had gathered to cheer Speed on both at the top and the bottom of the slide.

A fan stopped to meet IShowSpeed in the middle of the road in Romania

IShowSpeed has developed a reputation for attracting large swathes of fans in every country he has gone to as part of his extensive Europe tour. However, this can sometimes turn out to be dangerous. Such an incident took place when Speed was walking through the roads of Romania and a fan stopped his car in the middle of the road to meet him.

Fearing for his fans' safety and preventing inadvertently causing an accident, IShowSpeed and his crew sternly instructed the man to move ahead and not obstruct the flow of traffic. While pointing for the vehicle to move ahead, Speed shouted:

"Bro, you in the middle of traffic! You in the middle of traffic!"

IShowSpeed had also planned on doing an IRL stream from Pamplona and wanted to participate in the Running of the Bulls tradition within the Plaza de Toros de Pamplona. However, he was escorted out of the arena by police officers, and as per Speed's cameraman Slipz, also nearly had his phone confiscated by the authorities.
